R&D
A lined box only works if the liner, the adhesive, and the shell are chosen together. That pairing is the whole product, and here is how we arrive at it.
The bonded liner
Loose cushioning shifts, tears out, and gets thrown away with the box. A liner bonded to the corrugated stays put through transit and handling, so the protection is right where it needs to be when the package lands.
Adhesive bonding
The liner is laminated to the board with an adhesive matched to the liner and the corrugated face, with no staples and no shifting inserts.
Matched to the product
Different products call for different cushioning. We match the liner type to the part, its weight, and its fragility.
Shell selection
The single wall corrugated shell and its board grade are chosen for the stacking load and drop height your shipment sees, never defaulted.
From part to production
Assess
We start with the part: its dimensions, weight, fragile points, surface sensitivity, and how it ships and stacks.
Design
Shell grade and liner are specified together, with the liner type chosen for the product being shipped.
Prototype
A physical sample is built so the fit and feel are real before any volume is committed.
Test
Drop, compression, and vibration checks in the spirit of ISTA procedures to confirm the package survives the trip.
Produce
Once it passes, we lock the spec and run it, so it is the same box on every order.
Liner options
Bonded foam liner
Our current liner is a 5mm bonded foam, available in black or white, for everyday protection.
Right liner for the part
Different products need different cushioning. We choose the liner that suits the part rather than forcing one liner onto everything.
More liners in development
We are expanding our prelined liner options so a wider range of products can ship already protected.
The corrugated shell is recyclable. Ask us about the recyclability of the liner for your application.
Bring us your hardest part.
If it breaks in transit today, send it over. We'll design a liner around it and prove it on the test bench.
